In such a case we say that the springs are in parallel combination and thus the spring const. (k) add to give the resultant spring const.

In this case ur equivalent spring const. = k + k = 2k
But mg remains same so ur equation becomes:
(0.250)g=(2k)x
U get the value of k from the given data in the question i.e.:
(0.250)g=k(0.12)
