x^2 + y^2 + z^2 - 2x + 4z - 3 = 0 ,is given as an equation of a circle.how can it be if circle are 2 dimensional having x and y coordinates only? the question was : find equation of sphere which passes through circle x^2 + y^2 + z^2 - 2x + 4z - 3 = 0,2x+y+z=4 and touch the plane 3x+4y-14=0.(dont need solution of question but the concept behind circle having three coordinates)
