Which of the following punctuation marks are used to set aside information that is loosely related to the meaning of the sentence? dashes commas parenthese

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it might be dashes..

OpenStudy (zale101):

Your right it's dashes, because dashes is the most common punctuation used to side information. Parenthesis doesn't have punctuation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah that's what I thought!

OpenStudy (zale101):

Anytime :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It was parentheses :/ I got it wrong...

OpenStudy (zale101):

First i thought parenthesis is not a punctuation but it goes with the meaning. SO i thought dashes is the answer because the definition suits it and it's a punctuation. I'm really sorry about that. I was wrong :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's okay(:

OpenStudy (zale101):

Oh well, at last we learned something. I think this is not a test, am i right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah it's not a test so it didn't bring my grade down(:

OpenStudy (zale101):

Good Luck with the rest of your assignments :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you (:
