Since you are using a circle, by using a tangent line to the circle and connecting a triangle at the tangent point with a radius, a 90 degree angle is created. Therefore since angle p = 12 degrees, and a triangle must be 180 degrees total. 180 - 90 -12 = 78 degrees.

So to solve for my simalar problem it would be 180-90-16=74?
