so for q6 i got root69 for h but then when i put all of it in the formula i got 276.8 so i dunno bout that one
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i haven't a clue how to the last 5 sorry
OpenStudy (anonymous):
V=1/3 (area of base) (height) to find h 13^2=10^2+h^2
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yea i got root 69 for h then the base is 10 by 10 so thats 100 then you put it all into the formula and i got 376.8 which isn't one of the options so not to sure bout that one
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh i see what u mean now
:-/

yeah i mean if you did a 1/3 by 100 then u would get 33.3 which is an option but its not right so i dunno ..
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I guess ill go with that 1 because that is the only answer we can come up with ty with that one :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok and for q4 i got a completely different answer..than whats there
OpenStudy (anonymous):
for 4 v=Pi^2h
OpenStudy (anonymous):
that was the hint i got which i think u know that lol

yeah when i put all the ifo in so its like \[\Pi \times 3.4^{2} \times 11 = 399.48\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Hu that is weird i wonder y that happened
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i think for that question for what i got i think it is B which is 432.34 m^3
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i dunno either i'm going extremly wrong or you have a messed up paper :L

so to get the circumfrence of a circle it 2 by pi by r so you let that formula = 16
then pi is also equal to 3.14 so multiply 3.14 by 2 =6.28
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh ok
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[6.28r=16 \]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok
OpenStudy (anonymous):
then r = 16 divided by 6.28 which is 2.54

now you have r just fill out the formula
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh i see now
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[4 \times \Pi \times 2.54^{2} = 81.07\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok cool
