how does a leading coefficient change the parabola?

if it's negative the parabola opens down
if it's positive, the parabola opens up

yes If the value of b is postive it shifts to the right and if its negative it shifts to the right. However, if the value of b is positive, it will expand as b increases and if the v of b is negative, it will expand as b decreases
