Question

Hello guys!(: I just want your opinion.
Okay so for my final English assignment I have to write a paper, and then present it as a speech to my teacher. She sent me multiple options for my topic, but I'm not sure.. What do you guys think it's the best topic?
My options are:
*We should do more to help battered woman.
*Capital punishment should be abolished (or not)
*The production of nuclear power should be expanded (or halted)
*We should have stricter gun control (or not)
*More money should be spent on the homeless (or not)
*We must save the rainforest (or not)

*Animals should be used for medical research (or not)
* Adopted children should know their biological parents (or not)
* The United States needs stricter immigration laws (or not)
* The Patriot Act is justified to help fight the war on terror (or is not justified)
* The United States government has a responsibility to provide health care for everyone (or does not have a responsibility)

Choose something that has strong arguments for both sides. The "do more to help battered women" is basically so obvious it doesn't seem to need writing about, whereas you can make a strong argument for or against almost any of the other points.

And I truly I agree with the reason you're giving me @mth3v4 ... And I'm writing it.. I'm just asking for an opinion.. I already started my paper, but thought that maybe asking for others opinion would help me make a better one before I'm done with the one I'm doing.

In my opinion you should choose a topic you have the most knowledge about and find that topic interesting.
