7/x - 3 + 3/x - 5 please help im stuck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the common denominator first, then just add

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They both have an x so would they be in parenthesis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm kind of iffy about this. o_o;;

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have to solve this, or is it a multiple choice?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiple choice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you mind posting the choices? are you just combining the terms? or finding the x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here is what I've got out of the question so far. so we know that we need to find the common denominator correct? so the common mutiple would be 15.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since x is invovled, so you would get 7/(x-5)(x-3)+ 3/(x-5)(x-3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah heres the answer i got 10x/(x-3)(X-5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks for ur help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no probs~ I didn't do much xD
