What important cultural differences can you find between life today in your part of the world and life in Julius Caesar's Rome

they spoke latin - here where i am, not so much Jules was Emperor - we don't have an emperor Rome had lots of slaves - we got rid of our slaves 150 years ago or so we have access to information in near magical ways - Romans...had books but they would have to hand written so hard to come by
