The radius of a circle is multiplied by 4. Its area is _____ times bigger than the original circle. 4 8 16 20

The formula for area of a circle is A = pi* R^2, where R is the radius. As you can see whatever your radius is, it will be squared. If you started with a value of R =1 and then multiplied it by 4, you would have a new value of R = 4. R^2 is 4^2 or 4*4, which is 16.
