Plz help, im not sure how to do this...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

square both sides first then solve the quadratic equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i have \[100x=x^2+32x+256\]

OpenStudy (maddyx):

You have \[x^2 - 68x + 256\] Use middle term factorization or \[x=(−b±\sqrt{b^2 - 4ac})\div (2a)\] where \[ax^2 + bx + c\] is the equation in which a= 1, b = -68 , c =256 to get the roots

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answers are 64 and 4 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay!
