Hey everyone, Anyone could comment on the correlation between system biology and metabolomics?

I don't really know too much about metabolomics, but I would say that it takes a holistic approach to studying chemical processes much like systems biology. It observes the emergent properties that come about when hormones, signaling molecules, metabolites, etc. interact with one another, just like how systems biology observes the emergent properties that come about from simple interactions in a complex system.
