that's the "consecutive exterior angles" the sum of them equal 180 degrees
i know, but i dont completely understand how to do it
3x+20+5x+40 = 180 solve for x (assumed ur question find x)

okay, take the equation 3x+20+y=180 (it is supplement angles) first, put x=15 then solve for y
