Jessica will draw a quadrilateral PQRS with the conditions shown below. Side PQ and side QR are congruent. Side QR is not congruent to side RS. The measure of angle Q is 50°. Which statement about the figure he will draw could be true? It will be a rhombus or a parallelogram. It will be a kite or a parallelogram. It will be a rhombus or a trapezoid. It will be a kite or a trapezoid. is it d??
@amistre64 @ganeshie8
opposite sides are not congruent - so not a parallelogram. strike off first two options straight away
all sides are not congruent - so not a rhombus
we're left wid D. so you might be right. im not sure 100 % on this cuz :- 1. for it to be kite, both pairs of adjacent sides must be congruent - but oly one pair are given congruent here 2. for it to be a trap, one pair of opp sides must be parallel. nothing given here.
thanks @ganeshie8
np D is my gut feeling. so is urs i think... lets go wid it :)
