Hello! \(\LARGE\color{blue}{\mathbb{Welcome~To~OpenStudy!!!}}\) You want to use the expression: (n - 1) If it has 8 different plates, that means (8 - 1) The answer comes out as 7. This was a very simple problem. I encourage you to work on these types of problems in the future.
