use the area formula to find the height. Then use the pythagorean theorem to find the leg (hypotenuse of the right triangle).

so am i suppost to get 15?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A = .5bh 120 ft^2 = .5(16)h h = 15 15/2 = 7.5 I think you're supposed to get 7.5.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

\[\frac{1}{2}(16)h=120\] \[h=15\]
