For inequalities when you divide/multiply/add/minus a number from one side do you have to do the same for the other side of the equation??

except mutiply and divide by a negative number, you have to change the direction of the inequalities. I mean: if you have -x< 5 multiple both side by -1 (-1) *x < 5 *(-1) the direction of inequality changes \[x\color{red}{>} -5\]

@Loser66 Nope that's not my question. What I meant is let's say you have a > b, if you were to divide a by 3, do you have to do the same for the other side: a/3>b/3?
