This is going to sound ridiculous, but I don't remember how to add/subtract these
matrices, and my lesson doesn't leave me a video to watch like it normally does. Can somebody explain to me how to do these? I'm not asking for you to do them for me, just teach me how. I think there's one with adding, subtracting, and one I think is multiplying.

They might be.  I didn't think I was using the right terms.  But that's all my lesson said.

Box and whisker is this: http://www.purplemath.com/modules/boxwhisk.htm What you have looks like matrix operations. $$k\left[\begin{matrix}a&b\c&d\end{matrix}\right]=\left[\begin{matrix}ka&kb\kc&kd\end{matrix}\right]$$

It is just a constant, like the k example.  Do that part first.
