the graph of y=x is a straight diagonal line through the x axis at (0,0). y=2x has a gradient of 2,  which is steep, but y=5x has a gradient of 5 which is even steeper. her graph will be steeper than jack's graph. (they will eventually cross at some point because they are not parallel) hope that helps :)
