OpenStudy (anonymous):

when paraphrasing someone else's material, you are not required to cite them. Is This true or flase??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is true, as long as you can remember whatever you paraphrased. So lets say you rephrase dates, if you can't remember them, you have to cite.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its true, if it did not come from your brain and you got it off of the internet you MUST cite!!

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

It MUST be sited. If it is someone's information, you don't have to put quotation marks around it but you need to add a parenthetical citation (if required) and a citation in your bibliography.
