given the information about the following function, find the remaining zeros, x^4 - 15x^3 +55x^2 + 155x - 1476 the given zeros are : 5-4i

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would another be 5+4i ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

usually yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not sure how to approach this. seems to be the only deducible answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what I thought too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is. from a quick search i found: In mathematics, the complex conjugate root theorem states that if P is a polynomial in one variable with real coefficients, and a + bi is a root of P with a and b real numbers, then its complex conjugate a − bi is also a root of P.[1]

root is when the function = 0 in case it's a new term
