what is the relashionship between the words power and freedom?

Power comes with freedom, but P\power can also limit freedom. a good example are slaves. Once they went free in the North, they became Empowered (just like in Harlem Renaissance), but the ones back in the South were ruled over by whites who held power over them.

Power means to basically have jurisdiction over someone or something and freedom is to be free of a power or be able to do anything h/she wants
