You see how the adjective always goes in between the two words, in the word pair?

We use the first word pair (más + que)
whenever we want to say that something is MORE THAN something.

We use the second word pair (menos +que)
whenever we want to say that something is LESS THAN something.

Let's pretend I want to say..."I am less intelligent than you."

The adjective, again, goes in between the two words, in the word pair that we chose.

the third word pair (tan + como) is used whenever we want to say that something is JUST THE SAME as something.
