the only even prime number is 2 1 is neither a prime number nor a composite number. every number greater than 1 which is divisible by 1 & by itself is a prime number ,e.g.,2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29,31,37,41,43,47,53,59,61,67,71,73,79,83,89,97,.....etc are pirme numbers in first 100 natural numbers.
