thomaster (thomaster):

7 girls on a bus being driven to school each girl has 7 bags for each bag there are 7 big cats for every big cat there are 7 little cats how many legs are on the bus? (just for fun btw, wanna see who answers correct first :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

70

OpenStudy (anonymous):

14 + 28 + 28 = 70

thomaster (thomaster):

That's wrong, 1 girl has 7 bags with 7 big cats and 7 little cats. thats (343*4)+2 legs for 1 girl already

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your question says 7 girls... look at it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says 7 girls on a bus it dosnt say 1 girl

thomaster (thomaster):

yes 7 girls. And what i'm trying to say is that 1 girl already has 343 cats so 70 is false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You didnt put that in the question though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm i get what your saying

thomaster (thomaster):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7((7(7(4(7 + 1)))) + 2) + 2 = 10992 The last "2" is for the bus driver because you said the bus is being driven and it is reasonable to assume that none of the girls is driving the bus, so there has to be an eighth human being, presumably with 2 legs.

thomaster (thomaster):

haha very good you even didn't forget the bus driver :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It was a fun problem! More about being alert than anything else! Thx for the post! @thomaster
