how many soultions do these equations have? x = 4 x = 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whick equations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no solutions two solutions infinite numbe rof solutions or one solution

Well think about what they represent. Do the lines x=4 and x=1 ever intersect? Which will tell you about their number of 'solutions'.

OpenStudy (primeralph):

if you're looking to correlate them with other axes (y,z etc) they have infinite solutions. If they are constrained to just x, they have 2 solutions
