i think i just counted them up
\[4.5\times (2\times 7+4\times 6)\]
okay:)
the two on the end have seven sides showing the four in the middle have 6 sides showing for a total of \(2\times 7+4\times 6=14+24=38\) sides, each of length \(4.5\) does that seem reasonable?
