How much do we use solar thermal energy locally, state, nationally, and globally??

Between 1984 and 1991, the United States built nine Solar-thermal plants in California's Mojave Desert, and today they continue to provide a combined capacity of 354 megawatts annually, power used in 500,000 Californian homes. Does that mean California is the only state producing it? I don't know. It's going to take either a great article with the information already compiled or a lot of research to find out exactly how much, if any, the rest of the nation uses based on that technology.
