Each length in the smaller triangle are multiplied by 1.5 to get the lengths of the larger triangle, so do 24*1.5 to get x. Hope this helps :)

24 x 1.5 = 36 but that isn't one of the choices...

oh wait I am stupid :( the lengths are actually multiplied by 1 1/3.
