find the snth term a(1) = 18, d = –10, n = 12 a.-552 b.-888 c.768 d.-444

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Well, we have formulas for this sort of thing... \[\Large a_n = a_1 + (n-1)d\]

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Or, were you shooting for the sum...? In which case, after you get \(\large a_n\), use another formula... \[\LARGE S_n = \frac{n(a_1+a_n)}{2}\]

OpenStudy (dan815):

whats the number changing by?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
