if the temperature at 500m where the tourists start climbing mountain Kilimanjaro is 20ºC, what will be the temperature when they reach 2000m above sea level?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the formula and how do you do it?

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

if the temperature is 20 fore every 500m, and you want to get to 2000, you have divide 500 into 2000, then multiply 20 by the answer.

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

2000 divided by 500 = 4 , 20 x 4 = 80

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

get it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i got it thank you

OpenStudy (destinymasha):
