well lets say i can give you a few answers

please? (:

1)The mask symbolizes skin color and the whole issue of racial discrimination. Wearing the mask refers to being perceived as different from everyone else, just because he is darker.

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2)Yes, it could apply to others who are not African-American, because there was also discrimination against people of other ethnicities and skin colors...they were all wearing masks, just like the African Americans in the poet's time period.

4)The house symbolizes the grave, or death.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and you typed it wrong 'Emily wingspaninson', it should be emily wingspaninson

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3)He's a civilized, polite person. The poet describes his "civility" and how he "kindly stopped" for her-he drives the chariot. 5) The poet does not have a tone of error here, because the inevitability of death makes life worth living. So death can be counted as a blessing when it comes-an immortal life on Earth would be a curse.

I typed d I c k I n s o n, without spaces but since the wrong d I c k is in it it changed it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
