Definitely the second one --  it shows the determination of the protestors and how the Chinese military overwhelmed them.

Eventually, China's leadership decided to crush the gathering at Tiananmen Square using military force which none of the protestors could resist. If you simply put in "tank guy" in Google, it immediately associates it with Tiananmen Square. 

Even today, the Square is regularly patrolled by soldiers and watched over by guards.
