so when converting mixed fractions into improper fractions u multiply the denominator with the whole number and then add the numerator. so with 2 1/2 you would have 2x2= 4 then 4+1 = 5 so u have 5/2. then the same for the other fraction. then u cross multiply the 2 improper fractions XD kinda make sense?
