OpenStudy (rajee_sam):

This is a 30° - 60° - 90° triangle. AM and CM are the legs of this right triangle. AM = Longer leg and CM = Shorter leg. So in this special triangle the relation ship between longer and shorter legs is as follows: Longer Leg (AM here) = Sqrt (3) times Shorter Leg

OpenStudy (rajee_sam):

\[Longer \space Leg \space (AM) = \sqrt{3} \times Shorter \space Leg \space (CM)\]
