@DaniB you should read the entire thread, bc/ there is a lot of good info in all of it. and also, if you want to apply, the first reference to the link to apply is wrong and the correct link is listed further down.

you would likely receive communication before that if you're application is being seriously considered. you will be asked for examples of your best work, excellence in welcoming, people, inviting, posting on social media, answering questions by teaching not just giving answers, etc. . . ., and then probably will be asked for more stuff! a lot of consideration go into who becomes an ambassador - and then, after much consideration of applicants, the next cohort gets announced. it's not easy to get in, but worth trying. and many ambis had to apply several times before they had enough experience, etc. to get in.
