There are always other websites that try to replicate other websites. Of course, each individual website is unique in one way or another. With copyright guidelines, such protection helps makes each website special. I am sure you will find other websites like OPENSTUDY, but OPENSTUDY does have features that are unique for its kind.

There have been math and physics forums for years.  Same with most any topic.  Sometimes you get a near live communication through these.  However, the more social networking aspect, chat room responses, coupled with an emphasis on proper peer tutoring is something I have never seen elsewhere.
