is there any way to block a particular color of light with any other color of light.....I want to make a "light shield" that blocks other colors of light.

my guess: not possible unless it's some sort of nonlinear effect that i haven't heard of. it's definitely possible to do deconstructive interference with light of the same color, but that's more like canceling it out than brute-force-blocking it.
