One thing you might recall about a centroid is that it divides each median into two segments whose lengths are in the ratio 2:1, with the longest one nearest the vertex. So in the instance of AE, you would have the longest side (2) as the one you're trying to find: \[\frac{x}{2}=\frac{5}{1} \rightarrow AG=10\]
