Suppose the senate of the united states consisted of 58 democrats and 42 republicans. how many committees consisting of 6 democrats and 4 republicans could be formed? You do not need to simplify the expression.

\[\binom{58}{6}\times \binom{42}{4}\] that is , the number of ways to choose 6 out of 58 times the number of ways to choose 4 out of 42
do you know how to compute these numbers? they are both rather large
