Try to keep your voice strong and act like the audience is right in front of you.Picture someone your comfortable with and if you think they are convinced that should be enough persuading for you!

They should help you get your point across. A good persuasive essay uses both facts that help your opinion on the topic you are addressing and also uses facts that don't necessarily help. For example, if I was pro-abortion I would say that abortion has helped lower crime since it has been enacted because it gives single mothers the option to have a baby later in life when they have a more stable hold of things. But, I could also include the morality of aborting a child and address how the morality is the choice of the mother, or if the mother even has a choice because she is giving up a life. So for your persuasive essay, show both sides of the story and try to explain why one is better than the other.
