$$S= \frac{ 1 }{2 }*g*t ^{2}$$

In 4 seconds, it travels 78.4 meters.

So technically, it won't even reach the ground.

Assuming you start the watch after it reaches the ground, the water is 78.4 meters below the ground.

anonymous · Answer

since well starts from ground level
speed of stone when it enters well is v=$$\sqrt{2gh}$$

now, s=$$\sqrt{2gh}$$-1/2gt$$^{2}$$

anonymous · Answer

h=100m
t=4s
