Can someone help me with this problem? Its Algebra 1...
.....yeah can you post up the question so we can see it?
Its... Fine the mean, median, and mode of the data set. Round to the nearest tenth. 15,13,9,9,7,1,11,10,13,1,13
mode is the number that occurs the most out of the sequence mean is the average when you add all the terms together and divide by 12 median is the middle value when put in order
Mean: Add up all the numbers and divide by the number of numbers The mean of {a,b,c} would be (a+b+c)/3 Median: Write the numbers out from least to greatest, then find the middle number The median of {1, 2, 5, 8, 12} would be 5 Mode: Which number appears the most often? The mode of {1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 5, 5, 6} would be 3
so your mode would be 13 mean would be 8.5 and median i think you can solve for that one
put up the answer you get for your median, to see if you did it right
oh okay thanks:]
so the median would be 10 right?
yes and for your mean it should be 9.27 since there are 11 nvalues not 12, i miscounted the values
no u got the mean right
it was right..how many total values are there? i thought there were 11 and not 12. the 2nd time i checked
i asked my teacher just a min ago and she said that it was 8.5
oh ok then i was right the 1st time then....eyes playing tricks lol
