What role do ATP and NADH play in living cells?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

ATP is cellular "currency", it's a molecule that carrier potential energy within it's bonds and when a phosphate group from it is deposited on a protein, the protein changes conformation and becomes active. NADH is an electron carrier, used in cellular respiration, amongst other places.
