u can multiply 1st equation by 3 and multiply equation 2 by 2 and then add them.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
T o know the value of y multiply the first eq by the coefficient of x of second eq ie -5 and vice versa ie the second eq by 4 add both .... -5( 4x+2y=-7) 4(-5x+3y=6).
