{-2x+y=5 { 4X-Y=3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just solve both equations for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok for the first equation add 2x to both sides of the equation and y will be left on the left side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just give me the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I cant. you can do this. all you have to do is subtract or add things to both sides of the equations until y is left on the left side. so if you add 2x to both sides it will get rid of the negative 2x on the left side and leave you with y.

i need your guidence

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hello are you there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so -2x+y=5 is your first equation. to solve for y (put y by itself) you need to get fid of that -2x. you following this?

you there?
