Solve the quadratic equation. 10x2 = 540 A. ± 3√6 B. ± 3√7 C. ± (3√60)/√10 D. ± (6√15)/√10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should first rearrange the problem so that you have 10x^-540=0, and then fill in the missing x with "0x" like so: 10x^2+0x-540=0 Now you should have all the necessary components to do quadratic formula! =D

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

or you cancel out 10 both sides, and take square root

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh yeah I thought it said use the quadratic formula... my bad xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the answer going to be?

Just do what ganeshie said, it's pretty short.
