well....obviously not all data are true...the average error is not approximately zero... so you have to answer correctly bcoz u'll get 2 answers....the correlation is also positive...

The regression line is not used because it's average error is zero, it is used because it is the best way to predict likely information. The sum of the residuals should be close to zero, but the statement is not necessarily true. All of the other answers are necessarily true based on this regression line. The answer is, "this equation produces predicted raises with an average error of zero."
