if u join the center of circle let say O to A and to B then a quadrilateral is formed by figure OAPB in which angle OAP=angle OBP=90 degrees because AP and BP are tangents and we know that in a quadrilateral sum of all angles are 360 degrees and in this figure we know all the three angles so we can calculate the angle AOB which is the measure of arc AB Hope u can understand
