math question

OpenStudy (raden):

what ur question then ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the slope of a line that is paralles to the graph of the equation. 3x=5y+10

OpenStudy (raden):

3x = 5y + 10 ----> 3x - 5y = 10, this line has the slope m = -a/b with a = the coeff 0f x and b = the coeff of y, so m = -3/(-5) = 3/5

OpenStudy (raden):

because that lines parallel, use the property m1 = m2 therefore m2 = 3/5 too
